Members of the »Friends of the Bach Archive Leipzig e. V.«, »The American Friends of the Leipzig Bach Archive« and the »Neue Bachgesellschaft e. V.« associations may exclusively buy tickets from 12 November 2024.

The processing and collection of the different types of payment available on the online shop between the customer and the Leipzig Bach Archive – via purchase contracts concluded on www.bachfestleipzig.de is carried out by service provider egocentric Systems. As the commissioned vicarious agent of the Leipzig Bach Archive, it also carries out fulfillment (payment processing) and customer service.

Concerts by other organizers
Tickets for these concerts organized by Gewandhaus, Mendelssohn-Haus, Schumann-Haus and other organizers cannot be bought at Ticketmaster: No 21, 23, 42, 52, 53, 62, 65, 68, 75, 120, 136, 138, 139, 155, 156, 181, 193, 194, 202.. The internet addresses have been provided. Each organizer decides independently about the start of the advance ticket sales.
Concessions and Climate Pass
- Where reduced ticket prices are offered, concessions are granted to: severely disabled (accompanying persons are entitled to a free ticket), the unemployed, schoolchildren, interns, students and persons doing voluntary service; Leipzig Pass bearers will receive a special reduction.
- Furthermore, you can buy a Climate Pass which entitles the owner to buy one reduced ticket per concert. A combination with other concessions is not possible. The Climate Pass is non-transferable. The Climate Pass cannot be applied to guided tours and to the following concerts not organized by Bach Archive Leipzig: No 4., 21, 23, 26, 42, 52, 53, 62, 65, 68, 75, 87, 120, 136, 138, 139, 155, 156, 181, 193, 194, 196, 202.
- Afore mentioned concessions can only be applied if requested before the purchase of tickets. After the purchase, regular-priced tickets cannot be converted into reduced tickets even if the reason for a concession is valid.
- Appropriate documentation has to be shown at the concert venues without being asked.
- Wheelchair users are asked to book by writing directly to the Bach Archive.
Further Provisions
- Tickets may generally not be refunded or exchanged. If the Bach Archive has to cancel the Bachfest or has to re-schedule concerts, the tickets will be refunded.
- If a venue has to be changed, tickets retain their validity. Visitors cannot claim the right that a concert has to take place at a specific venue.
- Casts are subject to change and such changes do not entitle the holder to return tickets bought.
- Bachfest concerts mostly take place in authentic venues. The architectural structure and the resulting performance conditions mean that visibility may be limited whatever the seating category. This does not give the right of withdrawal or to price reduction.
- If concerts are recorded or photographed, visitors agree to being pictured (in TV, internet, printed media).
- General terms and conditions apply. They are published in German on our website.
- No entry after the concert has started!
Booking online
You can book your tickets directly from the list of the complete programme of the Bachfest Leipzig. Please note the following information for ordering tickets online:
After clicking on the »Buy ticket« button in the programme a new tab will show a page with the ordering form. Please choose the number of tickets and put them into your shopping cart by clicking on »Add to cart« (order). In the cart you will have the opportunity to select a reduction if you are eligible. If you have bought a Climate Pass beforehand you will be shown the reduced price automatically.
To order further tickets for other concerts please return our programme, choose the respective concert, click again »Buy tickets«.
Your reservations will be kept in your shopping cart for 15 minutes after each single click on the page.
