Climate Pass

The Climate Pass serves to compensate for the CO2 emissions caused by the Bach Festival (participants and audience). The compensation is achieved by planting trees in the Bach forest. A combination with other discounts is not possible. The Climate Pass can be purchased further down on this page.

The price of the Climate Pass is based on the average length of our guests' arrival and departure.

The Climate Pass cannot be applied to guided tours and the following concert by other organizers: No 4., 21, 23, 26, 42, 52, 53, 62, 65, 68, 75, 87, 120, 136, 138, 139, 155, 156, 181, 193, 194, 196, 202.

How It Works

Place the desired type of Climate Pass in your shopping cart and click on »Bestellen/Order«. (You can only order one Pass at a time, as it is issued for you personally). In the next step, you will be asked to create a new customer account or log in to an existing customer account. Next, you must enter your payment information and address, agree to the terms and conditions and privacy policy and select a payment method. Once the purchase is complete, you can print your Climate Pass or save it as a pdf. However, this is not necessary as you will be recognized as the holder of a Climate Pass each time you log in in the future. You will then automatically be shown the 15% discounted member price* for the events. You can then add up to two tickets per event to your shopping cart at this price; from the third ticket onwards, the undiscounted normal price applies again.

* The Climate Pass works like a »membership«. However, this ends automatically after the Bachfest 2025.
