Artists:
Linus Roth (violin), Aleksander Dębicz (piano), Il Giardino d’Amore, direction: Stefan Plewniak
The new Bach project by pianist Aleksander Dębicz, Linus Roth and the Il Giardino D’Amore orchestra, conducted by Stefan Plewniak (first conductor of the Orchestre de l’Opera Royale Versailles), is both a modern interpretation of the works of the genius from Leipzig and a return to Baroque performance practice. In Bach’s time, musicians freely improvised, preluded, and enriched original pieces with their own creative parts. Dębicz and Il Giardino D’Amore draw on Bach’s masterpieces, such as his keyboard and violin concertos, revealing their timelessness through vibrant interpretations enriched with elaborate improvisations.
