The unique English tradition of a-cappella singing gave us the Voces8 octet, today one of the world’s top vocal ensembles. The three women and five male singers who created the ensemble in 2003 are former choristers of the famous Westminster Abbey. Performing in all notable concert venues the eight have since then made their name as a phenomenally versatile ensemble with a true command of the entire bandwidth of music from early polyphony to original jazz and pop music arrangements, with technical perfection and an unconventionally refreshing stage presence. Bachfest audiences can look forward to an extraordinary performance of four Bach motets.
