Kokopelli, the wanderer, is a fertility god of the Anasazi more than 1,000 years old and who still features in the mythology of the Pueblo Indians to this day. On his back, he carries a bag full of songs, travels round the countryside with his flute and ensures healthy livestock, abundant harvests – and new births in the villages. (in German)
