He has become an institution where piano interpretations of Bach’s music is concerned: Sir András Schiff never fails to enchant audiences in the world’s greatest concert venues with his profound yet accessible performances of Bach works. Schiff himself calls Johann Sebastian Bach the »alpha and omega« of music history, in whom »emotional, intellectual and physical aspects of music interact optimally with each other«.
