No 72 Writing about Bach

Two Nobel Prize for Literature winners, as well as Christoph Hein, who took the renewed invitation to the Bachfest as an opportunity to write a whole book of new Bach novella, and James Runcie, who in his celebrated novel »The Great Passion« imagined for us how the St Matthew Passion may have come about. This series is definitely an opportunity to look at Bach with very different eyes – through the pen of a master wordsmith.
