The Leipzig Bachfest Press Office is situated opposite St. Thomas’ Church, at Thomaskirchhof 15/16, in the courtyard of Leipzig Bach Archive. It will be open from 11am–8pm on June 11th 2025 as well as daily from 9am–8pm from June 12th onward. Besides issuing press tickets and acting as your contact for interviews, we also offer a photo and Wi-Fi service. Please note that we are unable to provide computer workstations for you in the Press Office.
Press card
The Press Office issues 2024 Bachfest press passes to journalists who have accreditation for several events. Please note that the Bach Festival press pass is not a substitute for valid press tickets.
Exchange and return of press tickets
You can exchange tickets at short notice in the Press Office, subject to availability. In the interest of other Bachfest visitors, we ask you to return unwanted press tickets in plenty of time.
Paying tickets
Needless to say, in addition to your press tickets you can also order paying tickets for the Leipzig Bachfest (see order form), payable by invoice or credit card. Please understand that in case of postal dispatch, we are obliged to charge starting at € 4.90 (Europe) or € 10 (worldwide) for postage and processing. As a general rule, paying tickets cannot be exchanged or returned.
Programme booklets
Programmes will be handed out at the box office prior to the commencement of the respective event on presentation of a valid press ticket. Please note that programmes may not be available for every event.
Documentary proof
Please send us copies of your articles as proof. If you do not provide articles in spite of requests from our Press Office, we reserve the right not to grant accreditation the following year.
Photos and film recordings
Camera teams will be shown to their respective press points 30 minutes before the start of the event by our press team. Please note that no photos may be taken during the concerts, including for private usage. Please use our free photo service.
