Kristian Bezuidenhout (harpsichord)
The German newspaper »Die Zeit« remarked on the unusually sensitive interpretations of Kristian Bezuidenhout on the fortepiano. Born in South Africa, this urbane musician studied in Australia and the USA and today performs as a soloist with outstanding chamber music partners and leading ensembles worldwide. In Leipzig, he will present two recitals of works by Johann Sebastian Bach on the harpsichord. One of these concert evenings will be devoted to the passionate, young composer, and the second to the virtuoso, mature Bach. Kristian Bezuidenhout’s playing combines both these capabilities – passion and virtuosity – to perfection.
